Haliburton Chiropractic and Massage Therapy was founded by Dr. Katie Hammerschmidt in 2002 after practicing in Windsor, Ontario, since 1994. Since then we have developed an experienced, dynamic, multi-disciplinary staff to compliment your chiropractic care, including registered massage therapists, a naturopathic physician and a traditional Chinese medicine acupuncturist. The addition of a Yoga Studio was also completed in 2008. It has brought a much needed and modern space to the community, boasting heated cork floors, cathedral ceiling and plenty of natural light. We host regular Yoga, pilates, zumba and meditation classes as well as occasional specialty groups that rent the studio space.
We are proud members of the unique and historic county of Haliburton Highlands and we pride ourselves in providing a truly community based treatment centre that Haliburton County needs and deserves. Through our passion for helping others, we were able to become the first clinic in the area to offer a multidisciplinary office, bringing together Chiropractic, Registered Massage Therapy, Naturopathic Medicine & Traditional Chinese Acupuncture. We want you all to live your best life and It is our mission through our experience, diversity and unmatched rehabilitation tools, to create therapy programs that help our patients achieve their maximum health goals.
