Shockwave Therapy

Shockwave Therapy is a non-invasive treatment that accelerates the healing process by stimulating an injury site and enhancing blood circulation to regenerate damaged tissue. 

Using a Shockwave Therapy hand held apparatus, strong energy pulses are applied to an affected area via a gel medium for short periods of time.  These pulses create micro-cavitation bubbles that expand and burst and by way of this force, cells within the body that are responsible for the healing of bone and connective tissues are stimulated.  Shockwave Therapy is especially effective in cases where the human body has not been able to heal on its own.
